Mostar was named after the bridge keepers, so-called mostari, which once were kept on the banks of the Neretva River. Mostar is most known for the Old Bridge, which together with the old town is on the list of World Heritage by UNESCO since 2005. Mostar is one of the most beautiful cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina; so if you've ever wondered which city you should visit in Bosnia, Mostar is definitely at the top of our list for a recommendation.
Mostar is daily connected with Dubrovnik and Sarajevo; and during the season with Vela Luka and Korcula.
